Hi everybody!
I just started to use ddn, and I'm totaly noob. :) I paste simple asp.net (vb) code, just a simple dropdownlist that shows data from access database, but prewiew shows just code, it means something doesn't work. Otherwise, that code works.... Database used in code is stored in root folder, inetpub. Is it because this dotnetnuke version doesn't support ms access databse, or I need to put database in some other ddn folder, not iis folder inetpub? And where I need to put database? Thank you very much!!! <3

I would suggest that you start by doing some reading up on how dnn works.
You cannot just cut and paste .vb code into a HTML edit window - dnn does not work like that.

If you want to add your own .vb code to dnn - there are two main approaches.  Custom dnn modules or the dnn razor host system.

To learn more about modules- this site is an good place to start http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNu...

A good place to learn more about the dnn razorhost is this excellent collection of blogs on the subject.

Thank you very much Westa! I'm totaly noob, and I'm a little bit confused... When I copy - paste this simple html code :

My First Heading

My first paragraph.

and click on preview it shows all code with tags. :/ It is probably some stupid thing :)
Now I'm going to read about dnn on that link you pasted. Thank you!
