Guys i'm in the same boat, i've tried the same browsers but to no avail. I only have one of the db tables mentioned PortalDesktopModules.

Are there any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance

Ok. I found a solution for this. I initially installed the DNN under localhost and had the issue. Now, I reinstalled DNN under a site with a URL and it worked all fine. So are not we supposed to use DNN under localhost?

simple fix for me, i turned off my firewall software. Everything works fine....for now
