I have a DNN website and I would like to find a way to force any user who types http://myportal.com to be automatically switched to https://myportal.com

I have a wildcard certificate installed on the server and I can type https://myportal.com and get to the site just fine but I can also get to the site by typing http://myportal.com.

I see that on the Admin-->Site Settings-->Advanced Settings-->SSL Setting, there are check boxes for SSL Enabled and SSL Enforced. If I check SSL Enforced, it doesn't seem to force HTTP:// to HTTPS://. In fact, it has the opposite effect; it switches my manually typed HTTPS:// to HTTP://.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Dave

the pages themselves need to be set to be secured (e.g. under the page settings - note: admin/host pages will use SSL)
