I already posted this problem, but I did not get any response, Can some please assist. We get this general exception in the log viewer.
Restarting IIS fixes this issue.  We are using 5.6.2 version of DNN. We usually have heavy traffic on the site.

this can occur if the user does not have rights to delete the file (this file and its associated file are used to store cache and cache invalidation details) - please check your permissions. if these are correct, then please check that nothing is interfereing with the actions e.g. virus scanners can cause issues and accidentally block file deletes.

please see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/WindowsPermissions.aspx - but basically cache files are created, read and deleted, from the message it appears the delete is failing which will be either because you're missing the modify permission on the portals/0/cache/pages folder, or else because a process (such as a virus scanner or indexer) is occasionally blocking deletes (in which case you'll want to ensure this folder is excluded from the virus scanner folder list)
