I have recently set up a new DNN6 installation and a WebMatrix development test project. In both installations i cann't get the friendly urls work. Friendly Url is activated in host settings

Especially Forum, Wiki and Blog modules won't have friendly urls.

Any Ideas?

The same thing is happening for me. A couple of people I have sorted sites for recently have it working and they are on 6.00.00. I am on 6.00.01 and it's not working on that version.

I did some digging with my host and it seems as if the urlFormat="humanfriendly" parameter is not on the DNNFriendlyUrl provider by default in 6.00.01 whereas it seemed to be in 6.00.00. I have just checked this with the source version of 6.00.00 that I downloaded and that also has the urlFormat="humanfriendly" parameter by default. My hosting provider said that the human friendly version can cause more issues with SEO and broken links etc if you decided to go changing page names / moving them in hierarchy whereas the ones with tabid in them will resolve even if you move them / change names as DNN uses the tabid to generate the page.

Hope this helps.
