I've recently installed 6.0 in a test environment. I was trying to get active directory authentication working. however the manual is from previous version of DNN and its not really helping me. anyone have instructions on getting AD auth working properly?

The process is the same regardless of the Core framework being 5.x or 6.x, it depends on the Active Directory authentication provider. You need to download and install this to do what you need (I also moved this post to the proper forum). You can download the active directory provider from http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/
