Not sure where to post this... sorry if I am in the wrong place.
Pulled an all nighter to preform a forced move of DNN 5.6.x from one box to another... box was just slammed on a new project.... and pegged the CPUs at 100%....

This was a simple, database backup and restore... copy of the dnn site root... alter the connection strings and the IIS headers/document directories... and bang the site was up on the new box.

PROBLEM:

ALL pages render prefectly with the exception of ONE that contains only the HELP module....
That page is throwing MSSQL network exceptions.. of the Cannot find db server nature....

What could possibliy be in the Help Module that causes it to use an alternate connection string????

I am totally baffled...
Thanks

The help module uses the legacy connection string (in the web.config). DotNetNuke ships w/ 2 connection strings towards the top of that file, one is in a <connectionStrings> section, which is the more modern one most everything uses, then another in the appSettings section. If both connection strings are the same, then its another issue that I am not aware of.
