Columns are all there, they are just null.

The Folder create by user id and created on date information is correct but the files information is all null strangely.

ah, i've just checked the sqldataprovider files and the relevant stored procedures were only updated in 5.5.0, so you'll need to use that version to store/retrieve audit data.

I upgraded my local installation to 5.6.2 and the problem has disappeared. Thanks.
Hopefully we won't have issues on our dev and live installs.

So another problem has presented itself.

I am able to create folders and add files now. Everything appears correct in the database and in the file system however i cannot mange the files or folders in the file manager. It shows my folders as empty when they are not and the subfolders i have created are showed twice. My module creates a datavalidation folder and within it creates individual subfolders. I'm not sure why I am seeing duplicates in the file manager. Is there something wrong with my code or is the file manager incorrect?

Also as an aside, I was planning to upload an image to help explain but the file manager is incredibly confusing.

you'll have to do a syncronize so that dotnetnuke picks up the files in the folders (either via the UI or via the API) - im not sure why the subfolders would show twice-is that the case in the actual filesysyem (also please check that you are not accidentally calling the method to add folder data to the database -the filesystemutils.upload method does that as part of it's work as well as validating other settings)
