Hi djb, it looks as though Rick has found the porblem as his Leeds Blue site is working correctly now, perhaps he will come back and let us know how he did it.

Turns out it was something to do with the way my ISP had set up the DNN instance on the shared server. I suspect it must be som, ething to do with permissions or that they had not installed the registration module. They fixed it by reloading DNN.

Incidentally my first installation was on DNN4FREE http://website4317.dnn4free.com THis went down for 4 days and when it can back up had teh same problem. This musty mean that the ISPs have a common and possibly flawed approach.

I'm having the same problem....but with only some of the portals.   Any solutions?  Or suggestions I can forward to the ISP to try and get things resolved?
Thanks,
Jill

This is what I get with Firefox when trying to register.....   but the problem is not cookies.

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept    cookies.

I should add I'm using DNN 05.06.03 (45)

As I said this seesm to relate to the ISP. The dnn4free site is still blocked. The EUKHosts site is working fine. All I can think is that they are blocking the redirect which seems to point back to the home page. The login still works. Guess you could try dnn4free to see if they say what they do. ldon't know if DNN offer advice to large scale ISPs about secure configurations. Maybe someone could comment.

This is the message I get using Chrome..... a bit more information than Firefox or IE provide.
Is there some server setting limiting the number of redirects allowed?   Anyone know?

This webpage has a redirect loop

The webpage at http://vnw.org/tabid/640/Default.aspx has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Here are some suggestions:

Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.
