Hi,

I'm not sure whether anyone can help with this but as I am new to DNN, I have my fingers crossed...

After recently upgrading to DNN6, we purchased a skin from http://tuning.bind.pt and it generally works just fine, apart from some z-order issues with DNN6's new floating menu. Basically, it doesn't sit on top (i.e. the menu sits underneath adjacent modules) and some modules on the page can't be configured. I'm guessing that the issue lies with the skin not being updated for DNN6 compatibility but is there anything I can do in the mean time? Like turning the floating menu off?

hello, sorry to hear its causing issues (BTW we have fixed a number of z-index issues in the 6.0.1 release). As to the control panel, you can change this under the host->host settings and change the control panel from ribbonbar to iconbar (you cant change to the 5.x version of ribbonbar as that control was upgraded and not replaced)

Hi. Many thanks for your reply.

I tried the iconbar change and although that changed the page header design section, it did not change the floating menu z-order issue, so I don't understand what this is supposed to achieve?

Can I ask when v6.0.1 will be available for download?

sorry, i thought you meant the menu at the top which floats and not the manage buttons (so you should revert back). As for 6.0.1 development is finished and QA is underway, so as long as no serious issues are found it should be out soon (Id guess a week)
