Hi All


i am software developer i want to upgrade the site that is in DNN 5.2.3 to DNN 6 i am starting from m right now

complete new guy please help

BACK UP EVERYTHING FIRST !! !!

Make sure you have a backup of both the FILE system and DATABASE.

And then take the upgrade a step at a time - dont try to jump from 5.2.x to 6.0.0 in one leap - there is a pretty good chance you will have issues.

ALSO when you run each UPGRADE - you will also need to manually upgrade your MODULES - they are NOT upgraded automatically.
Only the core content is upgraded.

I suggest upgrading via 5.4.4, 5.5.1 and 5.6.3
