I am having the same problem with DNN 6.0.1 and F&L 5.1.3, however, I do not get an error or script message. The field just does not display. I used this module extensively across this particular site and now all the email address links are gone. I hope this can be fixed soon!

This issue is now adressed to get fixed in DNN6.1.0. The fix will not be included in DNN6.0.2., sorry.

One workaraound would be a calculated column, using this expression:

'<a href="mailto:' + [fieldname_UDT_Original] + '">' + [fieldname_UDT_Caption] + '</a>'

Please notre that this expression doesn't cloak the email address with Javascript..
