Hi everyone, upgraded to version 6 a few days ago.

Didn't try to log in until this afternoon.  Normal attempt to log in, clicked the hyperlink, get the popup, enter name and password, click the login button and get this.

DotNetNuke Error

An error has occurred. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionButtonList.get_ModuleActions() at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionButtonList.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---
Return to Site

Read other postings and I've poked around my files some.  The web.config file has debug at false.  Looks like my logins and passwords still exist but still give me the same error.

Any suggestions of what to try at this stage?

Thanks for the reply.  After attempting to log in, the popup is populated with

When it is closed the page then refreshes and shows the same error message.

Now to the casual visitor, there are no problems.

Only when a user successfully logs in does this error appear in the login popup. And then in the main browser content.

All I can say is I can't get in to do anything as an admin or superuser. As long as my login session is active I get redirected to the error message as seen in my prior posts.

I've tried this on multiple browsers, IE 8 & 7, Firefox 4&5, Safari, all with the same result.

Right now four websites that I run off of this copy of DNN can't be modified.

I have this same issue a few days ago after an upgrade on GoDaddy.

Does anyone know, is this GoDaddy settings related, or some other issue?
