Upgraded to 5.4.4 but now I have an error in the template, I think.

at the bottom of the pages,  );  appears.

Looking at source it is Google analytics code, but i'm unable to figure out where I can remove it.

there were issues a few versions back with google analytics -a core bug meant that the output was not written correctly. I would recommend upgrading to 5.6.3 to see if that resolves it.
