First can we get a topic BUG REPORTS Only Thread So we can all work from that thread Please.

Next I found a bug in the manage tab of each module only when pop ups are turned off.

You cannot manage the module when pop ups are off.

Need to fix that in the next update.

Just an FYI guys

You can edit each module from the Admin / Pages section.

Simply click on the page in question and then select module from there you can edit your module.

Also Moving your Module to a different layout is not possible either.

To move the modules you need to do one of two things.

Select layout and try to drag and drop which did not work out to well.

Or turn the pop ups back on and move the modules.

Either way it needs to be addressed in the next update.

http://support.dotnetnuke.com  is the place to log bugs for dnn - that way they get seen by the core development - and act as the central repository for all issue management.

These forums are community managed and as such - dont guarantee that a comment you make here will be translated into a bug report.

FWIW though - the dnn601 is due any day now - so I would suggest you check support.dotnetnuke.com to see if anyone has logged a similar bug - this will tell you if its been resolved in the next 601 release.

Also make sure you check the issues when 601 is released - and if not resolved - make sure again that you log your issues in support.dotnetnuke.com

Having said that - you should be able to MOVE modules around on the same TAB by using the MANAGE action menu - it should list all the content panes on the current page - and let you select which one you want to move the tab too.

Cheers

Westa

I agree with Westa - do not assume because an issue is talked about in the forums it is being worked on -if it's not logged at support.dotnetnuke.com then QA cannot verify it and therefore it will not be roadmapped so no developer will know to work on it. As for known issues I think that in future I'll (or someone else can) will create a wiki page for issues with known workarounds as that information also gets lost in the forums somewhat.

part of the problem with the wiki is that its just not something people seem to read - and unless u know something is there - then people tend to just land in the forums.

What maybe is needed is a KNOWN ISSUES forum  - with a pinned document at the top that is regularly updated - even if its just a set of links to other pages or wiki threads
