I received this same error when going from 5.6.2 to 6.01.00 however when I download the 6.0 compatitable dll it changes from being the explict null error to just generic An error has occurred. I replaced the new dll in the bin folder and that was it. Am I missing something? I noticed there is a skinobject.dll still in the dir too... I was using 1.4.1 and replaced with the new 6.0 compatitable but still no go...

I am having the same issue as the original poster going from 5.6.2 to 6.01.00 and after downloading the new dll that is supposed to be compatible there error changes from being specific like in the original post to just an error has occurred. Any ideas? I tried the precompiled dlll and then the procject rebuild dll but to no avail. I noticed my bin dir still has a housemenuskinobject dll am I supposed to do something with that?

I have corrected a (presumably) similar issue with the skin object version of the HouseMenu, and have contacted the individual above to include it in the CodePlex project.

In the case of the skin object, the error is occurring due to a change in the behavior of the TabInfo.IconFile property; apparently pre-6.0 this property would default to the empty string, whereas after 6.0 a null value is returned.  While I suppose this does represent a small breaking change, I am not convinced that it is a bug worth correcting as all modules should (unfortunately) protect against this possibility when using nullable types.
