Sorry if this was asked in previous posts. I couldn't find a clear answer.

I have 20 categories with a number of them having attributes. I modified the templates to accept the attributes tag and it showed up on the header. The behaviour I was hoping for would be to select a category and then have the attribute drop down populate with the attributes specific to that category.

Is this on the list to be included on a future release?

Thanks

Attributes are not category specific. In fact attributes have nothing to do with categories. You can almost think of attributes as 'user-defined' properties that are defined for each uploaded item.

So, assuming that you define one or more attributes on the Repository Module Settings page, you would then have the ability to place a drop down control in the template header.html/xml file. This drop down will will display all the valid values for that attibute. Selecting a value in the drop down will 'filter' the items to only those items that have that value in that attribute.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the response. That's what I thought -- didn't know if this was something that was in the works and if others were looking for the same functionality.

Thanks again -- great module!!!

Carl
