(Topic copied form another thread)Hi, Every several weeks, my superuser account gets corrupted partially. For example, on the page Host > Module Definitions, I can't see any of the links: "Install Module," "Create New Module". The problem disappears if I delete and recreate the account :)What could be the reason of such a strange behavior?

this can happen if the site is not in edit mode (e.g. set to view)

Indeed, that was the reason. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the hardest to find :)

FYI I added an enhancement request to support.dotnetnuke.com to make this clearer e.g. when menus pop-up we might inject text to show that the user is in "edit" or "view" mode as users often dont look towards the top of the screen.
