Hi,

I'm pretty much ready to start doing some serious module development (been playing around the past 2 weeks with it).
(Using DNN 5.6, VS 2010, .Net 4.0, C#)

However, I'd like (if possible) to modify the template we are using (DotNetNuke C# Compile Module.zip).

For instance:
Currently I must change the framework version from 3.5 to 4.0 manually.
I got some custom "helper" classes that I'd like in there by default.
Also have an idea including test projects with test helpers by default.
....and so on.... i think you get the picture?

I tried un-zipping the template, but had issues opening it in Visual Studio, so not sure that's the way to go....or is there some template "source" available, one can edit and zip as as your own custom template?

Any thoughts?

Chris covers some of this in http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Video-Library/Viewer/VideoId/107/Module-Development-Template-Installation.aspx as far as I remember - BTW dont forge tthat you can simply create your own WAP project, make the changes and then go to file->export template in vs.net and create your own.
