First question - are you manually updating your skin.ascx file or are you trying to parse a html skin file.

Though to be honest - from the code you have posted - it all seems like a lot of overkill for a simple skin object.

But regardless - the error relates to how your skin object is being defined on the actual skin.  We would need to see the SKIN.htm or actually the SKIN.aspx to be able to truely understand what is going on.

Hey MB34,

I was able to embed your user control by placing the following into the skin I'm using (Home-Mega-Menu.ascx).

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="CurrentTime" Src="~/Relative/Path/To/ViewCurrentTimeSkinObject.ascx" %>
<dnn:currenttime runat="server" />

If you update the relative path above to your actual path to the user control you created it should work beautifully.
