I have a problem with File Manager uploading files when logging in with user without admin rights. I have added Full Control to a role Editor in Folder Security Settings, but when I log in with an Editor account I can't add files to subfolders. The only folder I can add files with Editor is Portal Root folder. When I click any of the subfolders all buttons become grey and I can't click them.

you have to grant permissions to the files i.e. log in as host and in admin->file manager, scroll to the bottom of the page and add the relevant open/browser/write files permissions for the relevant users/roles.

please be aware, that in web hosting scenarios, upload is performed by the windows account used by ASP.Net, as configured in the App Pool, instead of using any other users or groups, i.e. file permissions for the folders of file system need to be granted to the account used. DNN internally checks permissions on upload based on user / assigned roles and folder Permissions, set in ADMIN / FILE MANAGER.

We've already did what you said.
We have made a role Editor. Gave them all permissions in File Manager (View, Add, Copy, Delete, Manage Settings, Full Control). And they still can't  add files in subfolders.
