 It might be a js caching issue, in which case a CTRL+F5 should resolve.

As for your other issue-what do you mean "all the available extensions got reset"?

 ok  once you install DNN you can go to host->Extensions->Available Extensions and click on install next to anything you want to install...well i installed everything but 1 or 2 things now after the update it show every module listed there again like its not installed.

This has been a issue for years.
WHen you get a new version all modules are in the upgrade zip. So after a upgrade all modules will show up in that list.

There could have been a flag for already installed or something. I think this is very irritating but it's just me :)
