When updating Appearance settings.

Error: Site Settings is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Portals.SiteSettings.UpdatePortal(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

When I go back into the settings, the changes were accepted. Just not sure what's up with the error.

it appears a portion of the update of site settins is failed (it's likely that the save applies a number of database actions)-can you please log this at support.dotnetnuke.com so we can resolve for 6.0.2

I've registered and logged in over there, but can't seem to figure out where you go to post an issue.

I did figure out that the problem only occurs when I'm trying to save PayPal payment gateway information.

[edit]

Hmm... I set the payment gateway settings in the host first, then went back and set the payment settings in the portal and it worked.

glad that it's working now -BTW for future knowledge you register and then log in at support.dotnetnuke.com and click on the issues link (which leads you to http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Issues.aspx?Tab=Issues&m=1&pi=2 ), and click the "create issue" link in the top right to log an item.
