I have a DNN 5.6.1 site for a client and several times over the last half year the logo stopped displaying. Twice I checked and the logo was not selected. I reselected it and it worked. Today the same thing happened but the file was gone from the Portals Root folder and the client didn't remove it. I had a backup and put it there and it is back now.

Is there a known issue with this. I saw some similar threads but they were several years ago and DNN 4. I don't have Auto Sync on for this site. Thanks for any ideas on what might be happening.

this sounds very strange, but you should ugprade to 5.6.3 for security reasons - and maybe your issue is fixed as well.

I've had the same thing happen very intermittently on 5.x sites. Logo just goes missing. Generally it's still on the file system but it's like the Site Settings were updated to none selected. I was the only admin on these sites so it's pretty strange.

Same here on 560, 561 and 562 sites (most if not all).  File(s) stayed there but became unselected; seemed like it  had to do with me being in host or admin mode and doing something else on that portal.  It got to be something I just always checked when I finished my other admin tasks...  Do not see it in 600, though 600 is a trip all its own...  :)

Well at least now I don't quite feel like the Lone Ranger. Anyway I got the site upgraded to DNN 5.6.3. Out of the dozens of sites I manage for myself and clients, this is the only site where I have had this issue AFAIK. And it is very seldom where I am on this site as Host unless asked by the client. I looked at the logs and saw that I did login on 13 Aug. The Admin logged in a couple times since then, but maybe she didn't notice if the logo was gone.

When I logged in I was looking at some Site Log settings for several sites because they were logging info when I had them set to 0 days. And that was causing the sitelog table to get too big and I don't use the Site Log. So I guess I could have done something as host and it deselected it and I didn't notice.

As an aside, on the sitelog issue it turns out that if Host has 0 Days and Admin doesn't have 0 it can log data. It is a bug Mitchell Sellers alerted me to.
