I have a relatively new 6.0.1 install of dot net nuke. I have added a lot of content. I needed to add an event module, so I went to the extension page on the host login and installed the extension. It said it was successfully installed. But now it is not showing up in the instaeed extensions or the available extensions either. I cannot add a module as it is not listed as available. I downloaded the install package again from the forge and tried to install again but got a SQL error as the tables already exist.

Any ideas? I do not want to do a reinstall of the entire site as there is a lot of content already posted. This is a community edition by the way.

first of all please log in as host and go to admin->event viewer to see if there are any errors logged. If not, then please run "select * from packages" to see if the event module is listed. If so please run "select * from desktopmodules" to see if it is listed - post back to let me know the results and we can try to progress further.

This happened to me as well. The log indicates that there was an error. I wanted to try downloading it again except that I'm building the website right on godaddy's site (I know...I know! But it's too late now!) and when I click on Find More Extensions, the Events module is no longer listed as an available extension.

If I try to download the module from DNN, it will be installed on my machine, and I'm not sure how to instead have it install in godaddy or, if that's not possible, how to move it to godaddy after installing it on my machine. (I've used DNN as an end user but am a newbie when things don't go right the first tiime).

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
