I have a vanilla DNN ver 6 install and I want to edit the footer on all pages, not just one page.  How do I do that?

TIA,

Steve Shier

Assuming you are talking about the section of the website footer, "CONTACT INFORMATION".  This content is not shared across pages, it is unique html modules on each page, they are not the same content but rather unique per page.

Assuming you would like to change the content of of this HTML module and have it reflect across all pages, you will need to delete all "CONTACT INFORMATION" modules from all pages except the Home page.

You have 2 ways to accomplish this:

Scenerio 1 - If you want this on all pages in your website, current pages and all future pages
Step 1: goto home page, contact information module and select 'manage - settings'
Step 2: under advanced settings, check/enable the option 'Display Module On All Pages?' this will place this module on all pages of your website.

Scenerio 2 - full control over what page gets this footer element
Once you delete all the modules except the Home page, you can then Add module from an existing page (Home Page)

step 1: Add module, select radio button 'Add existing module'
step 2: the Module Selection area, you will select page 'Home'
step 3: module dropdown, select 'Contact Information'
step 4: in module location area, select 'Footer_RightPane' for pane option
step 5: repeat for all pages that you would like to add this to

The reults of either option is, now if you make a change to the contents it this module it is reflected across your website.
