Trying to send a newsletter with an attachment but I get this error.  It works fine without the attachment.  It had about 25 users.

This issue was reported to DotNetNuke Open Core Projects: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=17969&PROJID=2

Would anyone have a temp way to disable email attachments in DNN6?

thank you for logging the issue, for a temporary removal, you may edit /desktopmodules/admin/newsletters/Newsletter.ascx, line 52 as follows:

I am using DNN 6.0.1, and I have found that I can send newsletters with an attachment if I set the send method on the advanced settings page to "BCC - One email to blind distribution list (not personalized)" instead of the default of "TO One message per email address (personalized)". The downside of this is that you have to remember to set this setting since it defaults to the wrong one. I would be interested in the fix if someone has one.
