Upgraded from 5.x to 6.x yesterday afternoon. No modification to the web.config... just copied the upgrade over top of the installation. We THINK it updated without issues... we do not recall seeing any 'errors' in the process. Unfortunately, we did not copy/paste the log for reference later.

Immediately, after the update some pages seemed to have a problem (with an outdated extension, removed it), the site seemed to work well without issues. We decided we would update/upload the newer extensions in the evening.

Some HTML links seemed to no longer work... it appears that recreating them fixed the issue. However, if you enable click tracking, they would not work. So disabled tracking and the site worked 100%.

When sitting down to do the module updates that evening, we noted the site was kind of broken. Some pages errored out (worked before). We rebooted the server, the site worked 100% without issues. So we updated the modules (assumed maybe related)...

In the morning, the site was again, erroring out on some pages. Recycling the Application Pool cleared the errors and the site worked again.

Looking through the events log file this morning... there are two errors:

you can check to see if there were any database issues via the logs - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Diagnosing-database-errors.aspx - as for the missing tcf.aspx page -i presume you have a page called tcf (check the tabs table) - perhaps you're running in a webgarden which is not supported - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Webgardens.aspx

Thanks, I will look into this, but this is supposed to be a single server... no clustering.

The site is still doing it... I just ran into the problem again. The page works, then a couple days later, pages no longer work. If I use the host settings and "Restart Application"... everything works again.

Server Error in '/' Application.
