I'm moving multiple  sites (5.6.1) (5.6.3) (6.0.1) from a shared host environment to a dedicated server (same configuration)- backup and restore process all went without a hitch but all the sites are missing the portal/_default folder  - there is only a portal/0 folder and I can't create new portals - no error message, just no response at all after clicking the 'create portal' button at the bottom of the new portal form.
Can't find anything in the forums  - anyone seen this before?

no, never seen that before - and if that folder is missing I would expect the site to have errors - perhaps your backup utility ignores folders starting with a _ . I'd suggest you download the folder via FTP and upload it.

Thank you for the response - The folder was indeed missing from the backup Zip file provided by the shared host. They sent those folders, I installed them and all the sites work..
