Been working a new site into DNN 6 and noticing the FileTicket creation on links is gone.  While I found this to be somewaht cumbersome it did something nice.  If I have 5 links throughout the site to a single document and then move that document through file manager, the links would not break.

Now, when I move a file, the link breaks.  Can I do something so links change when a document is moved?

Please tell me I'm missing something so simple.

To clarify.

When using the link tool in the text editor.

In DNN 5.x a link to a document created within the HTML module might look like this:
www.co.calaveras.ca.us/cc/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=H9wb%2f6apzEQ%3d&tabid=419&mid=1000

In DNN 6 it looks like this:
http://172.16.7.142/Portals/sheriff/D...

In DNN 6 this is more readable, however, the situation is as described.  Moving the document (using the file manager) will not fix the link in DNN 6 whereas DNN5.x the fileticket= information still points to the document after it is moved.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

-Jeff

If you are using CKEditor provider (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com), you will get the option to select link mode (relative, absolute, via linkClick).

Thanks Sebastian. I am accustom to using fckeditor, DNN experience has been with DNN 4.6.2 or an upgrade from 4.6.2 to 5.x. DNN 6 (fresh install) uses Radeditor. Not seeing the option available in Rad.

Is there another location I can set the options you describe in Radeditor?
