Hi

I am trying to move a DNN site from server "A" to server "B"

I Copied all the files in server A to server B

I moved the database

I corrected the connection string

I modified the value of namesite in table "portals"

Now when I try to connect to new site I have the following error:

http://www.mp9.it/Default.aspx

How can I disable this custom error page? In the web.config I have already set the tag custom error to "Off" ...

What should I do? 

I have the same error page on local machine too :( Is there not an automated way to check folders permissions? I don't know which folders should be in read-write mode ... I don't know what this means Where can I check the machinekey? The database owner is always the same

You can also try toggling (if it's false now, switch it to true, or false if it's true) these settings in the web.config. These two settings can cause DNN to redirect to installation to give an error if it's trying to upgrade but isn't allowed or visa versa

My guess is that it is either unable to communicate with the database (did you change both SQL strings on the web.config?) or there is a file missing or miss match in the file system files and the DB version.

You could also try the following but I think it's less likely to work.

If CustomErrors are set to Off you could try and also make sure that the custom errors are turned off in DNN by adding/updating the Host Setting UseCustomErrorMessages and set the value equal too N in the HostSettings table and restart the application pool.
