I have created a module and have some settings on the settings.ascx defined and saving the info. 2 of these are dropdownlists. Both are saving the data, one is retrieving it. I have both of them coded exactly the same but the one just will not retrieve the data. I have checked the database and the setting is stored in there for both.

I am retrieving all of them like below.

Dim HCtxtTo As DateTime = Convert.ToDateTime(Me.Settings("HCtxtTo"))
Dim HCtxtFrom As DateTime = Convert.ToDateTime(Me.Settings("HCtxtFrom"))
Dim HCdropVenues As Integer = Convert.ToInt32(Me.Settings("HCdropVenues"))
Dim HCdropRegions As Integer = Convert.ToInt32(Me.Settings("HCdropRegions"))

HCdropVenues
returns 0 every time, even though the setting in the DB is 2.

Has anyone ran across anything like this before? Any idea why it is doing this?

I changed the setting name and it started working. Not sure why the setting would not take effect with that name, but it works now.
