Hi,

I found the file route in file manager and source code are different.

For example, there is an image file.
1. go to the module containing the file,  click edit content, In current content page select HTML tag. the Image file is
    <img alt="Register" src="/Portals/0/ImageFile.gif" />
2. when I open File Manager, the image file is in "Portal Root" folder

Are there any rules that the above 2 folders are related? Is the "Portal Root" folder mapped to physical folder in some configuration?

Does someone have much knowledge of dnn and can answer this? Thanks.

it depends - if youre logged into a portal then the portal root is that portal e.g. portals/0 . If you're the admin you can also see the site root which is the portals/_default folder i.e. the folder that only host users have access to
