Greetings from Portugal,

I am new user of DotNetNuke and I have installed the latest version (6).
I have enabled the content Localization for my portals, but now I am trying to do two things:

  1. How can I easily add new entries to .resx files without direct access to the corresponding file?
  2. There is any module for switch between languages, like a select list or small flag images?

Thanks in advance,

1. Resx keys are maintained by developers, using Visual Studio to open resx files and add new keys. Translators are supposed to use built in Langauge Editor in DNN Admin menu to create language packs.
2. This is usually performed by a Language Selector skin object (either the one built in or using http://mllanguageselector.codeplex.com/

1 - I have realized that if I add a key to GlobalResources.<Localization>.Host.resx file, I can translate the menu items text. But for a "common" user this is not user-friendly. There is any solution for translate the menu items, that works on DNN 6?

2 - Totally works for me, thanks.

1. there is no UI for this, extending files is not a supported use case, sorry. I am aware of some limitations and we are working on solutions to get around it.
