Thanks Daniel.

Daniel is correct as he is one of the team members.  As he knows, we have had some hold ups because of PDC.  Prior to this I was heavily active in fixing the forum module and organizing its team.  I am trying to push a fix release soon as the gallery has been worked on over this time period.  When I worked with forums and saw gallery problems, i fixed them.  I have a personal need for the module now which also puts pressure on fixing it fast.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the commitment - I would just like to know if the next version is going to allow users to upload there own photos, or at least precise clarification on how to enable the module to allow this. Is it too early to say if this will be a priority in the next version? This is an eagerly awaited feature I believe, and a primary function of a User Gallery.

Thanks for you time!

Right now this is possible, it really depends on your configuration.  The entire upload is getting overhauled but not for the next version.  We have to work everything into the DNN file manager at some point but the next release, sooner rather than later, is just bug fixes.

Would it be possible to at least document this procedure - I have tried every configuration known to man and can't get it to work - it would be a pity to have such rich functionality being unused purely due to lack of concise documentation!

Obviously if ANYONE (not just subprojects team) has got it working they could enlighten me please?

No offense, but I don't see documenting things which are going to be completely overhauled at this point.  I think I am one of the few who have actually provided free user docs for any core DotNetNuke items.  Please cut me some slack here, it will happen eventually but not until the module is in a better place.
