Hi Folks,

I have a shared server arrangement that does not have .Net V4 loaded. Can you please advise what is the most recent version of DNN that I can load to this server???

Cheers

DNN 6.0 requires either ASP.Net v 3.5 SP1 or ASP.Net v 4.0 and MS SQL Server 2005 or 2008 (standard or express) - no change in those requirements since DNN 5.2.x. Note that some modules such as Razor host do require ASP.Net 4.0.

Thanks,

I now believe my host does not have SP1 loaded for .Net 3.5 - as the assembly that keeps failing to load I believe was released under 3.5 SP1.

But you have provided the evidence I need to chase them (their advice was that .Net 4 was required for builds after DNN 5.5)

Cheers

FYI .net 3.5sp1 is required for dotnetnuke 5.2.0 or higher - versions prior to that only required .net 2.0
