Need some help on an issue I'm having - hope someone can help.

I am using IE 9 to update our site.  I can log in fine, edit text fine, etc.  However, when I click text to update or insert a link, or insert a picture the pop-up Link or Image window contains no content other than Close and the X and freezes.  I have to close IE and log back into the site.

I have tried working around this by using Firefox 6.0.2. Sometimes I can use Firefox. But most times I go to the log-in page, enter my log-in information, and it just redirects me to the homepage.

Any advice?
