Hello Nukers,

I am really excited about version 6 of DNN.  I am well into finishing our production site.  Then I run into this crazy problem with the RadEditor and its Style Builder for Tables.  When you click on the Style Builder it is completely blank as seen below.

kAs you can tell the dropdowns are completely blank have no functionality.  The headers are blank as well.  I was thinking it might of had something to do with my custom skin I created instead of using the Dark Night.  So I created a test site, did a fresh install with DNN 6.01, installed all of the standard site options, including the DK skin and tested it.  The picture above is from the test site with a fresh DNN install.  I am really amazed that this is a problem.  I would have thought of all things the RadEditor would not be a trouble point.

Do we have any people in the community who know why this problem is occurring in my sites?  Is this a known 6.01 problem?  What solutions have been determined to fix the problem.  Thank you in advance for any help that can be provided in a rather expeditious manner.  We are under crunch time now and really cannot afford this to be a show stopper.  We can certainly hand code the tables but our concern is with customers who do not have expertise in html.

Thanks again for all your kind replies,
Dennis Kyle

those are core features of RadEditor, I suggest checking out www.telerik.com for details.

Good Day Sebastian,

I appreciate the checking with RadEditor or Telerik but why does it not work with a fresh install of DNN 6.0.1 and now it does not work with the recent 6.0.2.  I am using DNN's Dark Night Skin to make sure it is not something I am doing with my custom skin.  It appears to be an issue with DNN, the skins, and Telerik.

I am not even sure who I would bring this to with Telerik.  It seems like an issue on the DNN side if it is not working in a clean install.  Can you please provide any further guidance?  Have you or anyone else tested the Style Builder in DNN 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 to see if you can replicate the issue I am speaking about in this article?

Thanks,
Dennis

This problem has been around for a while, predating DNN 6.  Have a look at the following thread:

Editor localization

So it seems to be a localization issue, but I've had the same problem with DNN 5.x and 6.x installs that are totally default US English with no other languages installed..

I had to train a teachers and administrators at a local public schools system on this editor and it makes training on how to add and style a table embarrassing.

Just adding a border to a table is an adventure in trial-and-error.
