I have an instance of DNN 5.6.3 that has to be hit through HTTPS, any request for regular HTTP is rejected. This is fine and all working, but when a use forgets their password and uses the reset functionality, they are provided with a link back to the site. This link is given as www.*.com with http or https declared, making the browser assume http which immediately fails. Is there a way to make this link be sent out as https?

admin->languages, click on site, then expand out global resources and click globalresources - you'll find all the system generated mails in there - you'll likely have to replace the [portal:URl] token with a hard-coded value for the website (including the https part). Please also log this as an issue to support.dotnetnuke.com (i.e. that the token does not check for and generate the right protocol for https pages)

Hey, that worked but not quite like you said it would. I went to Admin > Languages and clicked the edit link for Site, but if I click Global Resources and GlobalResources, I get an error. However, Just going into the edit Site portion (and skipping those last two bits) had me on a page with all the system messages and I was able to find and edit the Password Reminder Notification message and my issue is now resolved, so thank you. The trace from DNN from clicking Global Resources is as follows for your own viewing in case it's useful to you:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Languages.LanguageEditor.LoadFile(String mode, String type) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Languages.LanguageEditor.BindGrid(Boolean reBind) at Telerik.Web.UI.RadGrid.OnNeedDataSource(GridNeedDataSourceEventArgs e) at Telerik.Web.UI.RadGrid.ObtainDataSource(GridRebindReason rebindReason, Boolean IsBoundUsingDataSourceId) at Telerik.Web.UI.RadGrid.AutoDataBind(GridRebindReason rebindReason) at Telerik.Web.UI.RadGrid.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---
