Hi,
I'm still new to DNN so excuse me missing the obvious.

I created kind of a knowledgebase module, and now working on the page(control) allowing user's to create new content.

Are there a DNN wysiwyg editor, like this one I'm typing in right now?  (Even my asp.net webforms are sucky..come from asp.net mvc / php)

Thanks in advance!
Krok

Sure it's pretty easy, just add the following to your ascx:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="TextEditor" Src="~/controls/TextEditor.ascx"%>
<dnn:TextEditor ID="Description" runat="server" height="200" width="510" />

You can see install the starterkits and see an example of this in use (as all the templates add a texteditor control) - http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/releas...

BTW If you're new to module development that the wiki page with links to short videos for the stages of developing a module might be worth reading - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W...

Awesome!  Exactly what I was looking for.

Yes, it's time to dig into some Module development training.
To be frank, I taught myself the basics and then more focussed on getting to develop modules using n-tier architectures like I'm used to with Asp.net MVC (where I come from).

Time to work on my presentation level skills (asp.net webforms and module development).

Thanks for the links!

Hmmm, got a little problem here and figured I'd just ammed to my post.

Got the TextEditor on my page and gave it an ID.

However, when I try to do something like txtBody.Text I get the following error:
"System.Web.UI.UserControl' does not contain a definition for 'Text' and no extension method 'Text' accepting a first argument of type 'System.Web.UI.UserControl' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)"

I looked at the template in the StarterKit but that one is using the Text property of the TextEditor....

Solved it, though don't like solving things editing the designer.cs (feels wrong, or is it just me?)

// protected global::System.Web.UI.UserControl txtContent;
protected global::DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls.TextEditor txtContent;
