I just hope they release an interim release before 30-days to fix this problem.  I know it is not always best practice to make the latest DNN version your production site but we did it.  Everything else is functioning OK as far as we can tell.  DNN 6 has been a rockstar so far but this is a show stopper.

Does anyone at DNN have any suggestions for a short-term fix that we can do server side or something to make this correct.  For us, it is happening even with DataSpring and Mandeep modules as well.  This seems to be specifically a problem with installed modules.   The previous response is confirmed, we have problems when updating settings on the site.

Someone from DNN please respond.

Thanks,
Dennis Kyle

I have done a fresh install of 6.0.2 and the closing the popup-modal does not seem to have the same issue.  So it may appear that it has something to do with the upgrade process rather than a fresh install.  Can someone else confirm the same findings?

Thanks,
Dennis Kyle

I haven't experienced this problem with any of my sites. I upgraded 7 installs to 6.0.2. I would recommend you turn off popups in the site settings if you need an immediate fix for this.

Also, if you are still using the FCK Editor, you should switch to the RadEditor, FCK doesn't work in 6.0.* with the popups

I am seeing this too. I'm trying to trouble shoot but haven't had any luck yet. So far I've tried the following to no effect:
  • Recycled the Application Pool (so shouldn't be a server caching issue)
  • Compared the Install Files to the Upgrade Files and there's nothing off there.
  • Cleared Browser cache, tried in multiple browsers (so it doesn't seems to be a browser cache issue)
  • Verified my site files match upgrade files
Still working to diagnose...
