Hi,
Is there a way to sign off the logged in user on close of the browser? I'm trying to find a way to accomplish this.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
You could use a session level variable when the user logs in (set it to a value of true), then set the session timeout to a period of time. After the time is reached, set the session level variable to false. Then set a redirect to a login page if the session level variable is false. if a browser is closed, the session state automatically resets, so this could be used to log the user off after a browser close as well.

this is the default behaviour for asp.net forms authentication cookies as long as the login is not persistent (i.e. as long as the user does not check 'remember me') - you can disable this ability - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Disabling-support-for-persistent-cookies.aspx

There is no event to tap into when a browser is closed. You would have to take the advice of those above and do something with the authentication cookie.
