when an announcement has passed the expire data it is not vivible anymore in the announcementsmodule, which is correct. But it keeps visible in the rss feed of the module also after cleaning the searchindex.

How to solve that expired announcement aren't visible in the rss feed anymore?

We're having the same issue.

We have the Announcements module setup on the News & Announcements page of the site. Then, we have an RSS Feed on the Home page to display the announcements from the News & Announcements page. But, the RSS Feed is picking up Announcements that have expired or been deleted. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this? We have Announcements module version 4.0.3 and RSS Feed module version 4.0.1 - and I see there is a new version of this, 4.02.01.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

Thanks, we tried clearing the search index but that didn't resolve the problem. We've noted that the RSS Feed dates are all the same - they're not showing the date the announcement was created or added. We're using the "Syndicate" option available by checking the checkbox in the Announcements module to create the RSS feed. Since the dates generated are all the same, the News module likely can't determine which ones are new...so is randomly selecting posts to show. So, the problem appears to be with the RSS generation. Any ideas?
