I'm wondering if there is a way, or if anyone knows of a module that can help me with what I'm trying to do:

  1. A user registers (USER A) with the site and fills out an extensive information form as a registered user.
  2. A subset of the fields in the form is then searchable by another registered user (USER B).
  3. When USER Br finds the attributes they are looking for, they make a request to see the full information.  This request notifies USER A of the request.
  4. USER A can make a decision to allow USER B to see the full profile information and grants read access to profile.
Does anyone know of a module that would do this?  A technique?

Thanks for your help.

This is not something that the core can do - however I believe it is something that activesocial may be able to achieve.

Alternatively a custom module could do this relatively easily.
