Greetings,
I have created a skin whereby the skin itself checks the browser user agent and then redirects to the appropriate skin control for that device. I am working towards creating a skin for mobile devices.

I use the following code to achieve the redirect and under DNN v6 Community Edition it all works as expect. BUT when the resulting webpage is displayed - and i am logged in - i loose the Admin toolbar and so cannot add content, edit permissions or do anything to the actual page. This does not effect other, non-redirect pages.

Any guesses?? Is there a better approach to cater for mobile devices without duplicating the content to a separate site?

The main skin contains the following code. Note i've created separate skins named after the 'device' they target. whether this actually works is debatable :) it does give the desired effect. BUT the Admin toolbar is gone??

Protected Overrides Sub OnInit(ByVal e As System.EventArgs)
      dim device = Request.Browser.Browser.ToLower()

      if (device <> "")
         device = device
      else
         device = "default"
      end if

      try
         Controls.Add(LoadControl("layouts/" + device + ".ascx"))
      catch ex as Exception
         Controls.Add(LoadControl("layouts/default.ascx"))
      end try

   End Sub

Did you add the "ControlPanel" in your skins?
