Have you ever tried to outsource your DNN projects? How do you think of it?

What will be the keypoints when you choose a outsourcing company/ developer?

While I've never completely "off-shored" or outsourced an entire project I have often "sponsored" changes or additions to existing modules or skins from current commercial module or skin developers. I've found over the years that many modules can get me 80% of the way to a client requirement and encouraging the vendor to help close that gap by sponsoring some "core" features (trading roadmap features and the priority of those features for cash) results in very high quality and more predictable results than group up dev.

The quality is the most concerned thing for me though. Of course the cost is not out of control.
