Be sure that you use the upgrade packages for both 5.06.03 and 6.00.02. The upgrade packages intentionally do not include a web.config, release.config, or development.config. Do not copy any files over from the install package. Your site's existing web.config will be automatically modified during each upgrade.

Hi Sebastian,
hope you are fine.
Thank's again for your answer.
i plan to upgrade before on 5.6.3 (i backup all files and DataBase DNN before on 5.5.1)
after i download .Net4.0 here (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851)
and i upgrade to 6.0.2 (i backup all files and DataBase DNN before on 5.6.3)
There is no change on II6.0 ?
what do you want to say about atm .Net 4.5 SP1?

Hi Michel,
sorry for the typo, I meant .Net 3.5.1 is still supported by DNN 6.
if you want to upgrade to .net 4.0, you either need to switch during an upgrade or running the migration merge script in Host > Configuration manager of DNN 5.6.0 and above, prior to switching the app pool.

Now i run DNN 5.6.3 all seem to be ok , i have not the time to test all the modules, i have always my backup SQL and DNN Folder 5.5.1 and 5.6.3
I am now curious to see how is version 6.0.2 ...

i have also installed .Net4.0
i can use the .Net 3.5.1 (that is more simple ..)
on 6.02 it is C# , does i change something on IIS6.0 since VB > C#
how to switch during an upgrade ?? or how to running the migration merge script in Host > Configuration manager
i dont realy understand, what is the best way please

Cheers from France, Michel
