Heya guys,

Is there a possibility to give a normal user admin rights ON THE FORUM ONLY! So he can NOT access the admin pages, but he CAN enter the forum administration!

Thanks in advance

if you give a role edit rights to the page, that role should also have admin rights to the module....

cheers,

erik

I'm pretty sure it's a little different for the Forums module.  The only users that are able to access the module admin pages are site admins or the host role.  If a role is given edit rights to the forum module that role will be able to post to the forums but not have access to the module admin pages.

Cheers,

Paul Davis

the same goes for any module. Giving a role edit right at page level will give that role admin rights to the modules (for instance access to module settings) on that page, while giving a role just edit rights to a module will not give admin rights (for instance no access to module settings)

cheers,

Erik
