Hi,

I'm attempting to install DNN v6 on a Windows 2008 server using a separate server for the SQL 2008 database. Within SQL I have created a blank database called Intranets and granted ownership rights to a domain account used to also run the application pool. On the configure database connection page I'm entering the following:

Select Database: SQL Server 2005/2008 Database
Server: CL3-APPS3\APPS3
Database: Intranets
Integrated Security: Checked
Run as db Owner: Checked

And I'm getting the following error, which I've tried googling and searching but unable to find reference:

Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 16
Number: 208
Message:

I can access the database via SQL Management Studio with the domain account being used for integrated security.

 Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, somehow the database was either incorrectly created or I'd messed around with it. Blowing it away and recreating a blank database in SQL has fixed this issue for me.
