Hi

we have a situation where users register and never receive the verification email. This is a real pain for us because there is no error in dnn and nothing to suggest anything has gone wrong.

We need logging for this so we can see what's happening.

I've noticed in the Event Log viewer "Edit log Settings" that there are lots of options that can be set for various DNN events.

However, what I really need is of user registrations to be logged and a copy of the notification email to be sent to admin.
Or at least some logging to show that the user has registered and and email sent successfully.

Is there any documentation on the event log settings?  i.e. how to create an event log?

For example, what does "user authentication" added mean?

thanks
Gus

please check that your admin account under admin->site settings has a valid email address as this is where the site related mails will come from. The wiki covers what many of the event log types mean - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/EventLogType.aspx
